Winter in the Aosta Valley
During winter when white snow covers the landscape there are the most particular events of the Aosta Valley. The famous Sant’Orso Fair in Aosta, an important handcraft fair that takes place at the end of January and the smaller Sant’Orso Fair in Donnas.
The Christmas Market in Aosta is an unmissable event during Christmas period, known as Marché Vert Noel, the local Christmas market is located in the archaeological remains of the Roman Theatre. Another Christmas event is the beautiful Nöel au Bourg in the medieval village of Bard.
