The mountain resorts of the Aosta Valley are all located at the foot of the highest mountains in the Alps and are known to attract many tourists and mountain hikers every year.

Famous mountain resorts

The tourist resorts of the Aosta Valley are all different and all characteristic such as Cogne located in the heart of the Gran Paradiso National Park, Gressoney, land of the Walser people, Courmayeur at the foot of Mont Blanc and the fashionable Breuil-Cervinia.

Picturesque villages

There are also manys picturesque villages such as Etroubles, an interesting open-air museum in the Gran San Bernardo Valley, or enchanting mountain villages where time seems to have stopped as in Antagnod, while others are real oases of peace like Chamois, the village without a car.
