Early – Christian Basilica of Saint Lorenzo: located beneath the deconsecrated church of Saint Lorenzo are the ruins of the cruciform church called Concilium Sanctorum, because it was built on the buries of the first martyrs.
In the church are situated the tombs of the first bishops of the Aosta Valley and other tombs built during the 5th and 8th centuries.
Inside the basilica we can see different kind of tombs placed in privileged parts of the building such as the apses or the presbytery.
The Early- Christian Basilica of Saint Lorenzo is an archaeological site placed under the deconsecrated church of Saint Lorenzo, close to the Collegiate of Saint Orso.
